If special occasions had their own universe, then guess what, you just found it! The Tiny Universe is a Swedish design house founded in 2010. Ever since the beginning our vision has been to really celebrate the first years on earth. Our soft garments, books and accessories are designed for any occasion when you want that little extra something, be it a baby shower, a birthday party, a wedding, or just a night on the town.

EVEN GREAT THINGS HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE

And for The Tiny Universe that meant Stockholm/ Sweden. Ever since the company was founded over ten years ago it has quickly grown and spread across the globe, today it can be found in several countries and on several continents around the world.


HOW IT ALL CAME TO BE

The idea for The Tiny Universe first entered the world when founders Maria Nilsson and Johan Halldelius, then a creative team at a Swedish advertising agency, were trying to find a suitable gift for a baptism. They wanted something different, something that really stood out, but they soon came up short. Their solution was to quit their current jobs, risk everything and start their own dream company, a company where they were free to create both the perfect gifts as well as the splendid outfits to go with them. Thus, in 2010, The Tiny Universe was born.

OUR TAKE ON SUSTAINABILITY

If our designs are timeless enough, and if our quality is strong enough then our garments can last for generations. Handed down from sister to sister and brother to brother. To us that means sustainability, a fancy word for thinking of the world around us as well as everyone in it. It’s with that in mind that we create our clothes, our accessories and our books, both for today and for tomorrow.

INTERNATIONAL PRAISE

Ever since its founding The Tiny Universe has been recurring in many of the worlds leading magazines as well as in online media. The company has been named one of the 5 top design brands in Sweden by lifestyle magazine Family Living. And recently one of the world’s top influencers, Kylie Jenner, posed next to her daughter wearing a dress from The Tiny Universe.
